I'm just wondering. What is the point? And how did "geohot" became so popular over that? ~I'm not hating~

I have a few old T.Vs I want to connect my laptop on but it doesn't have the S-video thing, only the yellow, white, red thing and a silver screw thing. Only my DVDs player have them, is it posible to connect it to the dvd then connect it to the TV or something, if so how do I do it?

I put it on full website, how can I make it go back to normal?
