I have a boston terrier that's almost nine years old. She sits on the couch and licks the tops, not the pads, of her paws. We don't know why she's doing it. She doesn't bite or gnaw on them, either, she just licks for about ten minutes several times a day. Why is she doing that?

My 2 year old has been diagnosed with allergies. He has been taking singular for a month now, while this medicine does seem to break up the thick mucus attacks, it appears he's having night mares and lost of appetite...I'd appreciate Any information anyone can offer if taking this medicine...
