i dont really understand what the difference is between different pipe set ups you got X pipe straight ect. care to explain (i could be wrong on the 2 suggestions i gave care to help me out understand exhaust systems more), does having a different pipe alignment help with horsepower or somthing...

Im getting my first car this summer coming up so would you get a small sports coupe or a car that can hold all your friends and still be fun? or some thing that you think i would like, keep it in the price range i got 10,000-15,000$$. thanks.
