There is this thing called OMA. A compliant server provisions devices. It even deletes contents when the phone is lost. The entire Eseries has supported it. Too bad nobody seems to know about it.
My first post on the 5800, and I have to say I'm tickled so far! I have been jonesing for a touch screen since I hung up my old Handspring Pro (mummledy) years ago - and I was never into thumbboards for input, though I did have one for the Pro. Besides, I now have a foldout Bluetooth keyboard...
My girlfriend just got the Droid X through Verizon, which I guess is a tiny bit bigger than the Captivate, and it's big but not really so bad. I personally prefer smaller phones usually, and I don't need all that much power, so the Aria will probably be what I go for now. Is it buggy at all...
