The positive site regarding the N97 is that the European version is TriBand 3G. Supports both 900/2100 European bands along with AT&T's 1900 3G band. Many places in USA including NYC are based in 1900 band. So you if your area is on 1900 you can get the European N97 and use it normally with 3G...

I have had no problems using 3G with my N97 NAM here in London. Likewise, 3G coverage has been excellent on both "3" and Vodafone networks despite not having 2100 coverage. Outside of London it may be different though because I believe some carriers are predominately 2100 in certain areas.

Actually, the show wasn't for kids, but, rather, adults. And the race was supposed to be halved or something. But I guess kids would have thought it was a show for them, so, hey, it became a show for kids.
