i have a blackberry now, before i had the vibrant. but i had to get rid of it because the battery sucked. but i like android so much, i wanna get another phone but which android phone is the best one out right now?

i have tmobile. and thinking about getting an unlocked iphone 3g. and ive heard that you are still able to get 3g speeds and some say u can only get edge. so is it worth me getting a iphone 3g?

for those of you who have the phone..hows the battery life on it. because i want an opinion before i get one. i was planning on getting one on black friday and i text alot and im worried about the battery life so let me know thanx.
