i think you are missing the point. nokia never annouced that there was a pr 1.1 to begin with, so how can you complain about waiting for something that isn't supposed to exist? everything you heard for 1.1 were rumors that haven't materialized. even if it's confirmed, nokia wouldn't be liable...

The CPU speed may not actually play a great role in determining which one is faster AFA web browsing is concerned here, because of the differences in the OS... S60 has always been using a lower speed CPU, but is never that behind as far as OS menu speed and execution in general is concerned...

About the silent ring when flipping the device...is that really a feature available for the E71? I haven't read up on anything related to that besides the FlipSilent app which may not be compatible with the E71 since it doesn't have an accelerometer.

that whole thing and the final fistfight were just amazing, the 'special attacks' I finished Ray off with missile spam leading into a melee combo and then a the special attack smash while he was on the ground. totally awesome

That tab is for File Explorer. The Tones settings doesn't have a tab, it's a popup menu at the lower left hand side for selection. When I remove the MMC it works fine.
