Rich people in America pay far more taxes, give more to charities, employ more people than any other economic sector in America. Don't hate, work hard and you too might make a million one day. Or you can sulk and mope and watch others having all the fun.

Recruiting and retention numbers are huge. As a matter of fact, I am leaving the Army because my choices are limited because they have the numbers.

You could, but you would have to put in more than 20 years. Besides, assuming you are in your early twenties, you would retire in your early-mid forties. That is a lot of time to do nothing. Especially with a wife nagging you.
