I just bought a Shimano SEDONA 400FD reel and a 6'6" st. croix rod medium stiffness. The test of my line is about 12-13 lbs and so is my rod. If I am casting shrimp and mirror lures off the shore near Charleston, SC, what should I expect to catch and also should i put any weight on the line??

Anyone know any good sites or tips for inshore fishing? Im going to the Charleston, SC area this weekend and taking my rod looking to catch some fish on shore. If you have any experience, tips or sites that would be awesome! thanks
