And what is a good RPM level? Right now it seems too high because as soon as i turn the car on it goes over 2 and when I'm at a stop light and i let go of the brake the car wants to take off.

I am interested in participating for electronics deign contests. But I could not find any website or blog which share informations about upcoming or running design contest.
