I got some leggings for biking in cold weather. Whenever I wear them, they fall down my legs. I have tried rubber bands but they don't seem to work. If you have any suggestions that will help them stay on my thighs and not damage the fabric that would be great.

I was riding a bike, the chain broke, i fell and hit the handlebar. it hit me in the mid section on the rib cage.
