    Can i activate an old Palm Centro on Verizon without a data plan?

    So right now I have a LG Dare but it is screwed up, and I have an old palm centro, but will I need to get a data plan for it, I've heard that any phone before November 2008 won't need a data plan is this true? Thanks!
