    Do I need a small business license to have a baked goods company in home?

    I live in northern California and my husband and I both like to bake. I would like to supplement our income by baking goodies for local coffee shops and restaurants. I am wondering if I need a business license for that and what kinds of other legal issues I need to know about. Thanks!
