    where does the transmission vaccum hose go in my 90 jeep cherokee laredo?

    This hose comes out of the back of the trans and heads over to the passenger side where it continues to head up the firewall where the hose stops. It has a metal like tip thats about 4 inches long. i assume it to be a vaccum hose but i cant find a place that it would go. Does anyone know about...
