    A rhythm-based story that is made extra flowery and exciting--the only time writers can make something more wonderful, emotional and meaningful than certain novels would allow. Did that answer your question?

    Why do poets use poetic devices in their poetry?

    That way it sounds more interesting. You don't want to write everyday talk in a poem or even a story for that matter--too boring and common! It's like another dimesion for one who wants to get away from everyday life (of course, depending on what the poem's about). Did that answer your question...?
