i have just got a blackberry bold 9700 and when i press the menu button then choose browser nothing happens, its like i never pressed the track-pad to select it , it just doesn't do anything can anybody help??

i have a technosonic wct2816t widescreen tv but it wont go on past standby dose anyone know what the problem might be or how i can fix it
