Toyota camery V6, will it fit in the engine bay of a mk2 Toyota mr2?

what is the maximum power that a chassis on a mk2 toyota mr2 can handle?
engine transplant job of epic proportions, but will the chassis take the torque? Land cruiser v8 is on the cards at the moment. Any advice? -

Can i put a rover 3.5ltr v8 engine into a mk 2 toyota mr2.?
Kit car project time, staying within the body shell of the mr2 isnt too much of an issue as the new shell is wider and much higher (extreme murci kit)
