How do I save PS1 games that I'm playing on PS2. It appears the PS2 memory card doesnt save the PS1 games.. is there any way I can save them?? Will the PS2 take a PS1 memory card?? help?????

There was a show - living bug space ship, with a dead gothic kinda guy, a head on a tray on wheels, and a buxom female. Possibly english or australian, and they often came to Earth. The ship was a living huge bug. Comedy.. and would love to remember or get help with what it was called
