My cars original factory harness was stolen along with the stereo and am wondering if i need that to install an aftermarket stereo.Or can i just use the harness that comes with my aftermarket stereo?

I have a 1999 cougar that is missing the oem origianl radio harness and i got a hold of a 1998 thunderbird or corona or something like that and it fits my cougars radio but im not sure if it will work will it??

My 1999 cougar stereo wont turn on at all. Its been sitting down for about a year and i went to turn it on today to get it fixed, whats wrong is it broken or a blown fuse??? Wow guys thanks for the great answers!

My 1999 cougar has been sitting down for about a year and the stereo doesnt turn on no matter what. I tried to turn it on via the button on my steering wheel but no luck. What could be the problem or is it just broken already? Ok i do get a little buzzing noise in the back left speaker, i think...
