Here in North Wales we have new cycle lanes built (at great cost) parallel to the main roads but a large number of cyclists insist on riding ( sometimes 2 or 3 abreast) on the road. Cyclists complain when there aren't any cycle-lanes provided for them, yet when they do get them, they don't use...

...snooker, pool etc? We know men are stronger and faster but why are they so much better at sports/games that don't call for speed or strength? The best woman darts or snooker player wouldn't manage to make it into the last 32 of a men's competition... any ideas why?
