It's a late 2007 early 2008 model but every time I turn it on, it says 4:3; 480p. I'm trying to configure the settings to 1080p so that I can enable my HDMI cable for my PS3 to run but I am absolutely stumped at what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've been trying to figure this out for 2+ hours now and it seems that I'm going nowhere. I did the settings where you find out your connection type, but it keeps saying that my resolution is 480p (I'm trying to get it to 1080p) and that my TV is 4:3. I have a 40-something inch Sony Bravia, and...
