    I have a sony tv(not flat screen) and when i turn it on the screen is black

    nothing happen. Why? and there is a light near the power button which says STAND BY TIMER and the light goes off and on. Why? Plllllllllllllllllllllleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee HELP!
