My Key broke from it's transponder. The transponder works fine, but the key wont work now that it is outside the transponder. I saw some keys (with transponders) for $18.00 on Ebay and some others for about $40.00. Will they be as good as my originals?

My husband is my military dependent and is forever waiting (it seems) until the weekend when he can't call the VA Dependent's Education office. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know if there is a way that he can access his financial records online?
