    Media and Literature containing necromancers?

    The Alchemyst by Michael Scott. It tells of the battle between Nicholas Flamel (protector of The Book of Abraham the Mage which holds the secret to eternal life) and his arch enemy, Dr. John Dee (a powerful necromancer). There's a sequel coming out too.

    I'd like to read some poetry but don't know where to start - please help?

    Start with Robert Frost. He is easy to understand for beginners. Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening. Fire and Ice. Two of my personal favorites.
