the clip that holds the tranny linkage on to the throttle bracket broke, replaced it hooked it back up, now I dont have no drive or over drive. PLEASE HELP

...dont? the fuel lights up but always says empty and the clock says 0 miles to empty and also the clock and date will work one minute then says a different time and date another. Dealer wants a 100 just to look at it, please help with any ideas! THANKS ALOT
