I have a bluetooth headset for my cellphone, but my mic for Xbox live keeps breaking, will my cellphone headset work on the Xbox? If so how do I connect it?

I'm playing Fallout 3 on PC and my PC meets all the requirements, the game lags/freezes drastically right after the Brothers of Steel round the corner towards you. Turning the game off and on does nothing.
