Are SurveySpot and SurveySay legitimate paying survey sties?

I have a 1991 mazda navajo (same as explorer sport). My mother lost the keys to it and the dealer wants way too much to get us a new one. I bought a new ignition cylinder w/ keys to replace the factory one with. Now of coarse, I can't take out the factory one w/o the key. Any ideas?
