I just bought a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country with 103,000 miles and drove and ran good test driving it and to our house but when we got here parked it in our driveway which is kinda steep and when we went to drive it again to go smoewhere backing up started jerking and didn't want to go but...

I have a 2001 Chrysler town and country 3.8 v6 awd the problem is when on a hill forward or reverse it starts jerking and shaking and won't hardly go but on flat ground runs perfect any ideas what could be causing this any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
