I put SEA FOAM in it let it idle for about half hour then dumped out the oil and it still makes a strange ticking tick tick tick tick. Not a thud or a knock but a tick tick.... I check the valves none of the rockers are loose. 185,000 miles don't know if that helps.

I did a oil change today I put in 6 quarts of 5w 30 is that the right kind to use? Yes new oil filter.
