    Why can't I have VLC media player make a video be my wallpaper?

    I read that it is possible and there is an option for it under the video menu labeled "directx wallpaper". But the thing is that it is greyed out so I can't click it. Why? if this helps any this is my computer specs: windows 7 home premium x64 2.1ghz AMD Turion cpu ATI Radeon HD 3200
