I had been using the E71 for about 3 or 4 weeks (time before I sent my Milestone to be repaired and time when it was being).
Although I love my Milestone about a million times more, I'm happy I had a Nokia E71 as a back up. The battery usually lasted me 2 to 3 days. The call quality was great...
Still much better than the Engaget article last week that basically left Symbian for dead.
For me the money situation doesn't bother me, because I'm "Very interested" to see where Nokia is a year from now with Symbian updating/evolving and also how the public reacts to Meego... :)
And she can learn the hard way if she hasn't educated herself on the ramifications of taking out a huge loan.
There is no justification for looking (begging?) at taxpayers to bail HER out of the mess that SHE created HERSELF.

Can anybody teach me how to take photos with this phone? I got the phone today and apparently holding down the camera button isn't enough. :( Any special settings for the camera function? I read the manual and they simply say hold down the camera button.
That was exactly my point when I originally posted my hardware question a few weeks back... There must exist SOMEBODY that has the technical knowledge AND equipment to upgrade RAM/ROM on a phone. Just clone out the ROM image and recopy it into the upgraded compactible ROM you will get.
