Where can I buy an old style stem for my old road bike. I have a shorter one but I prefer the feel of a longer one like the stems on the Italian bikes of the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try each one if possible and see which one you like and feels better. I personally have always been a Trek person myself but at this point bikes this similar you really should go by which have better components and feel.

Riding a bike can be easy. Practice your balance. Realistically it could take a couple hours to learn if you have good balance. Bike rentals cost around $15 depending on the place and/or the bikes themselves.
20 mph maybe if you are in decent shape. For me it would be 25 or so on a road bike. This question is a little too broad. What kind of bike are you talking about?
