I've never seen "The Raccoons", but I can guarantee that a character like Cyril Sneer would never try to do something as evil as blotting out the sun. Mr. Burns is truly one of the most (comedically) evil characters in all of animation.

There are similar duels where villains either are able to destroy the world or the main character by defeating them in a duel in both GX and 5D's. I never actually thought that it was a terrible villainous plot, considering how there are magical elements that cause the duels to bring real damage...
