Why my PC bios is detecting my IDE HDD ONLY when the slave end of IDE cable is
connected to DVD rom? I have a P4 machine. When i connect the ide cable from the motherboard to the HDD (Taken from an old computer) by the middle connector (master) leaving the other end free, the bios is not detecting the HDD. Same result even if i connect the ide cable to HDD by the extreme...- Beetin
