I have a 2000 Buick Century and a 2000 VW Jetta. I have oil filters for both lying around. So I accidentally put the VW filter on the Buick. I change the filter every 3000 miles/3 months. The filter fits fine (I guess most filters have the same threads.) Do I need to take the VW filter off...
