I was wondering if i made batter I could deep fry a cod loin so it would be exactly like a chip shop fish? How do i make the batter so it gets like chip shop fish? Anyone?

I dont eat takeaway food anymore because i have concerns about hygeine and the quality of stuff they put into their food. I could not eat a takeaway curry even if i was blind drunk. So i prefer to try cooking my own chicken curry with chicken breasts - have you done this and made a yummy curry...
