Okay, so i only know about a 2 year contract that gives you discounts for Verizon. Even if i have the 2 year contract, can i just get a phone and get discounts at 1 1/2 years even though i have the 2 year contract? Or, is the 1 year thing like i have to request that and that's how you get it...

I've heard that for AT&T, you can have a 1 1/2 year contract that lets you have discounts for the phone you would like to buy. I know that there is a 2 year contract for Verizon, but i was wondering if the 1 1/2 year contract could also be for Verizon so i can get my discounts earlier.
