    Wife due any day, switching to blue cross insurance, pre-existing condition?

    Since she's pregnant, she still qualifies for medicaid. There's a type of "pregnancy medicaid" so your wife will be okay. I have BCBS and Medicaid for secondary insurance. They cover what my insurance doesn't. Have fun w/ the new baby!

    I think I'm pregnant but I don't have health insurance. What do I do?

    First, go to a free clinic, Planned Parenthood or a WIC office for a free pregnancy test. If it's positive, they will be able to give you information on services in you area. Oh yea, and you should get a job, too.

    Does anybody know of any financial help given to families with sicks children?

    Maybe you or your husband can take some money out of your 401k so you can stay home for a while.
