    Thorn Resistant Tubes. Ask about them at any bicycle shop. They are twice as heavy as regular tubes.

    Get a used bike, and put new tires on the rims. Get the same brand tires that your friends use. The tires make more of a difference than anything else. There are so many good BMX bikes that I can't list them all.
