    Civilization 4 Graphics Issues?

    ok, i have the Civilization 4 PC game, i have updated Direct X, Windows, and my Radeon x1650 Driver. However the game still gives me a graphics problem - It won't present stuff on the map like cottages, farms, mines, forests etc... it does show the cities, but nothing more. WHY?! any ideas?
