    Is it legal to trade room and board to someone in exchange for manual labor?

    Or are there tax (or labor, etc) laws that prevent this? This would be in Maine.

    Do some Muslims prostrate during prayer with palms up?

    I have seen more than once, people praying and prostrating with palms up and the back of the hand on the ground. Do certain Muslims do this? I'm guessing they were Muslims, but maybe not.
