    I received a book about ASP.NET 2.0 and learned that it's already on 3.5. Is it still

    okay to learn 2.0? Is it a waste of time to learn the older version or am I going to benefit from it? I just didn't want to go and buy a new book nor discard the one I already have. Thanks.
