LOL, my son does the same thing. He's almost 5 months. I think it has to do with all the senses triggered by being outside. New sounds, new sights, new smells, etc. They are taking in so many things at once that they forget they are upset. LOL.

It sounds like you have a blown speaker, or maybe both. Or the wiring is loose. That's all I can think of. Sorry I can't be more help.
