there are a bunch of fire roads close to my neighborhood... they all have a closed gate and a warning that it is illegal to drive or obstruct them....i was wondering if it is illegal to walk in them?

the story is about a Asian girl who pretends to be a boy just so she can go to school...she has to abandon her mother in order to continue her education....i did not read the book in original language but the title that they gave the book was " the girl who wanted to be a boy" or something...
