    If there was an intelligent, omnipotent deity, why would he/she hide from his/her

    creations? Why not make an appearance every now and them? Then the pretty much the whole planet would know they were real, and we'd be pretty peaceful. Why let all the wars and death go on when it could be fixed by a simple appearance? Don't say you must have faith because that doesn't answer...
