I'm 17 and hope to join the army soon. How come I can go into the army (although I don't think you can go to war until your 18) but yet I can't buy cigarettes.
Are they going to be looking at people my age in training and making sure we don't smoke a cigarette? Sounds like school instead of...
Also just wondering why soldiers were berets as uniform - what's the point? I know if you are fighting you wear a helmet but just for eveyday stuff - why a beret or even anything on your head at all
I was in court during the week and noticed alot of the others just wearing tracksuits and that. I wore a suit in the end - didn't really want to but was told too but even if I didn't would have put on decent clothes.
