You get tested all the time, especially when you first join. If you plan on making the military a career, lay off the weed and all drugs. You have plenty of time to join at 24. Max is 36 for Army National Guard. They test us every 3 months or at their choosing.
I know a guy close to home in the Army Air National Guard that all he does is fly every day and refuels aircraft in mid-flight from Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
