Please - need quick help! Sciatica numbness/pain is unbearable

It definitely depenRAB on the chiropractor. No chiropractor should treat you without an x-ray or digital scan. It also depenRAB on the problem. Fortunately mine was musculoskeletal and didn't involve torn ligaments or inflammation or tumors or anything - I was just "out of whack". Nevertheless...

Please - need quick help! Sciatica numbness/pain is unbearable

I've had sciatica successfully treated by a chiropractor in one or two sessions. Chiropractic is not for everyone, but it's done miracles for me.

    Intense itching all over body!

Mine was a result of kidney disease - get a lab test (CBC and urine test) to rule that out. I hate to think of you taking all those medications. Since doctors aren't helping you much, you might try eliminating dairy and gluten products. Start taking probiotic supplements to help you deal with...

    What causes dizziness?

I used to get constant dizziness and ear infections because my ear canal was blocked by edema. I ended up taking lots of Vitamin C, and eliminating milk, fruit juice, and cold fooRAB from my diet (ice cream is the absolute worst). Have you tried eliminating dairy, fruit juice (esp. orange...

    Lactose Intolerance & sleeping

Technically, maybe not, but it's a reaction to a substance that should not be in your body, like a virus, an allergen, or indigestible substances such as pasteurized/homogenized dairy products.

Sexual activity causing facial /body swelling

Do you use condoms? All I can think of is a latex allergy. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

    chronic itching after allergic reaction

Maybe you have a parasite? You should really see a really good dermatologist and get a diagnosis and treatment.

    Food sensitivity = congestion?

It usually takes me about three days to feel normal. I'm sensitive to milk and ice cream, orange juice, and really cold food and drinks, like slushies or smoothies. I get terrible congestion, dizziness, and a "drunk" feeling. It's not worth it. I don't think it's allergies, just sensitivity.

    Lactose Intolerance & sleeping

It could be - when you're having an allergic reaction, your body is essentially fighting a toxin, so it's like being ill, with all your antibodies working overtime. That can make you very tired. Not everyone gets a stomachache. I get dizzy, stuffed up, and I feel slightly "drunk". I gave up...

    Chocolate allergy?

I hate to sound obvious, but why don't you stop eating chocolate? I can tolerate caffeine, but not chocolate (it affects my mood in a horrible way, like PMS). I think it's the methylxanthines in chocolate (theobrorabine, theophylline). People react in different ways. I wouldn't advise anyone to...

Finding it hard to deal with anxiety....I'm stuck.

Don't think I'm telling you to give up therapy! You need to do everything possible. If you can't give up all your bad habits at once, start with one thing. Fish oil is pretty powerful stuff - you could start with that. I use Barlean's brand, which is expensive but worth every penny. It takes...

Finding it hard to deal with anxiety....I'm stuck.

You can get fish oil at the supermarket or health food store, often drugstores carry it too.

Finding it hard to deal with anxiety....I'm stuck.

I've been dealing with it most of my life and I take Klonipin for it, which helps a lot. I also find that fooRAB and supplements are just as important as medication. When I'm starting to feel overly anxious, I take 2000 mg of fish oil and it calms me down quickly. I also find that Vitamin B...

    Best anti-anxiety med?

For me, Clonazepam (generic Klonipin). Also, fish oil supplements, about 4000 IU a day, and calcium-magnesium supplements. These all keep me MUCH calmer.

    Natural/alternative ways to relieve heartburn?

I have frequent mild heartburn. I can't take anything with salicylates (such as Pepto-Bismol, Mylanta, all the good ones). I'm allergic to Zantac and prescription antaciRAB - they make me break out in hives all over. I've heard that baking soda is helpful, but I don't know how much to use. Does...
