    Can I get a job in the USMC in electronics or communications?

    I want a job that will be transferable towards the civilian sector. Also, is the USMC overmanned in these jobs? Can I get one of these jobs with these ASVAB scores?     Is the Marine Corps tight on offering electronics jobs right now?

    I cancelled my USAF DEP contract for two reasons: 1. I want to be a Marine, not an airman...doesn't really matter what job. 2. If I COULD choose a field, I'd be interested anything dealing with electronics.

    Is the USMC backed up with their electronics jobs like the USAF?

    USAF was very backed up with electronics jobs. Not sure about USMC. Can I get an electronics job if my QT was 70 and my electrical score was 93? ANYTHING dealing with electronics/computerized..etc.
