    I think I have managed to do it. What I did was go to settings>messages > recieve at Then I signed out of my apple ID and switched my phone off and then back on again it theme allowed me to select my nuraber only and frienRAB have said my email is no longer coming up. Hope this helps!

    There is quite a lot of anecdotal evidence as per the stories above. The problem is there is no official way to quantify these anecdotes so it's very difficult to judge how prevalent such abuse of the system is. Technically it's not even abuse.

    I totally agree... They need to keep the cheap phones in order to keep the current allure of their product, but what's the harm in getting some decent higher end phones? I know they'd attract higher end professionals who use a lot of minutes, like myself. I've been with cricket for 4 years now...
